Can spousal support be modified if the receiving spouse becomes disabled?
0 CommentsIf the receiving spouse becomes disabled and experiences a change in income or financial needs, they can seek a modification of spousal support based on their new circumstances (unless spousal support is non-modifiable in the Judgment). The increase in spousal support, if any, does not exceed the supported spouse’s Marital Standard of Living and the support paying spouse’s income warrants an increase.
